I have never used your website. How does it work with ParkPlus Airport Parking, from finding a space, parking at the location, and getting a ride to and from the airport?

ParkPlus Airport Parking partners with select hotel and garage facilities to offer discounted parking services for airports across the country. You select the nearby facility where you prefer to valet or self-park your vehicle and select any additional services available during the reservation process. Once you pick your quote and book your reservation, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your details. Remember to print two (2) copies of your reservation, one for your records and the other to be brought to your reserved facility when you arrive at check-in. The parking team will assist you with finding a parking space and directing you to the shuttle. Our complimentary shuttles will transport you directly to the airport terminal for departure!

Upon entry, turn right and pull a ticket at the gate. Continue to the bottom level and park. Pick up the shuttle at Hotel Front Entrance for a short trip to your terminal. Upon return, call the hotel using a courtesy phone or call 718-565-8900 for shuttle pick up. When you arrive back at the parking location you must stop at the hotel’s front desk and turn in your prepaid parking voucher to receive an exit pass to allow you to exit from the lot.

Further directions for Renaissance Newark Airport Hotel, which is a self-parking facility:

Upon arrival at the hotel, please check in at the front desk with your printed reservation prior to parking. The Renaissance Shuttle Van will pick you up at Hotel Main Entrance in front. Vans run every 30 minutes and will drop you at your preferred terminal. Upon your return, please call us at 908-436-4600 to arrange pickup. When you arrive back at the parking location you must stop at the hotel’s front desk and turn in your prepaid parking voucher to receive an exit pass to allow you to exit from the lot.

Why do I have to make a reservation to park at one of the facilities?

A reservation must be made to ensure you are guaranteed a parking space, no matter how busy the facility is. Without booking in advance, you may arrive on site to find there is no spot available or the initial rate you saw on ParkPlus Airport Parking is no longer available, leaving you to pay a higher price and a possible delay in departing for the airport because you make a reservation at the facility.

What if I need to cancel/modify my ParkPlus Airport Parking reservation?

All reservations can be modified or canceled up until 24 hours before departure on the ParkPlus Airport Parking website. Reservations canceled within 24 hours of departure may be subject to a cancellation fee up to one (1) day parking rate. If you arrive earlier or return later than your reservation, the facility will calculate the extra days at your reserved rate, and you will pay the balance at the facility. Please visit the My Account page to edit/cancel your reservation or click on the link you received in your email reservation confirmation.

What is your cancellation policy?

All reservations can be canceled until departure time (local time zone) without penalty. Reservations canceled after departure will incur a $5 cancellation fee; if canceled within 24 hours of scheduled departure due to flight cancellation, proof of canceled flight is required. Reservations canceled after 24hrs post departure are not eligible for a refund.

Is there a minimum duration for a reservation?

Your parking reservation must be for a minimum of 48 hours (two days).

How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?

We recommend you make your airport parking reservation at least 2 – 3 days (when possible) ahead of your travel date, but the sooner, the better. We take parking reservations up to six (6) months in advance. We recommend that as soon as you book your airline reservation, you reserve airport parking at the same time… that way, you won’t forget about making it. Booking earlier may also qualify you for a lower rate!

Do I need a credit card to make a ParkPlus reservation?

Yes, we book all reservations with full payment online. Paying online in advance for your reservation guarantees your rate if the rate increases between booking and arrival. Plus, this allows your time at the facility to be minimized as you’re not paying after arrival if they are busy.

What information do I need to make a ParkPlus reservation?

Along with your contact details, you will need to know the following:

  • The airport for which you will require parking
  • The dates you are departing and returning to the facility (not your plane times)
  • The times you are departing and returning to the facility (not your plane times)
  • The credit card and billing information for payment

What if I drive an oversize vehicle?

If you have a vehicle greater than 6’5”, we recommend you pay for the oversized vehicle and double.

What should I do if I do not receive a confirmation email?

If you made a parking reservation and did not receive a confirmation email, you can view all previous bookings on ParkPlus’ My Account page. If you have not created an account, please email airportparking@townepark.com to have a reservation confirmation emailed to you.

Do I have to stay overnight at the hotel to book parking?

No, you do not need to stay overnight at the hotel. Our hotel partners offer to park separately from room reservations.  However, you cannot use an airport parking reservation as an overnight hotel guest; there are no in and out privileges.

Do you have AAA/AARP/military discounts?

Because the rates available on our website are typically already discounted from the ‘drive-up rate’ offered by the facility, there are no additional discounts.

Can I transfer my reservation to a different parking facility?

Because the facilities on parkplusairportparking.com are independently owned and operated, we cannot transfer your reservation to another facility. Instead, simply cancel your existing reservation and create a new one at your chosen facility. A refund/credit for the canceled reservation will be processed according to our Cancellation Policy. (See FAQ #4 above for more detail)

What does “Reservation Blackout” mean?

Reservation Blackout means we are unable to accept any reservations at this time because the facility has no more spaces available on your selected dates through ParkPlus Airport Parking. You will see the message:

We are unable to accept any reservations at this time. Please choose a different date to park or try again later.

Are the parking facilities and shuttles handicap accessible?

Park Plus Airport Parking Accessibility Assistance service, offer’s the highest level of customer Service Assistance in the airport parking industry.

Are all facilities open 24 hours?

All facilities are open 24 hours so that you can retrieve your car anytime. However, not all facilities operate shuttles 24 hours a day. Please verify on the facilities’ pages for hours of shuttle operation.

How early should I arrive? How do I figure out how much time I need to add for getting to and from the airport?

TSA recommends arriving at the airport 2 hours before departure for domestic flights and 3 hours for international flights.

Most of the facilities’ shuttles run less than 30 minutes; we recommend you arrive at your reserved location no less than 45 minutes before the time you want to arrive at the airport to ensure you find a parking space, collect your luggage and belongings, and make your way to the shuttle pickup if self-parking. If valet parking, we recommend 30 minutes.

These both include transit times on the shuttles.

Can I go in and out with a ParkPlus reservation?

If you have booked an airport parking reservation (multi-day) you do not have access to go in and out with your vehicle.  If you exit the facility before your pre-booked departure time, the remainder of your reservation will be forfeited, and no refund will be issued.

Who is liable if my vehicle is damaged while parked with a reservation?

Neither the hotel location or ParkPlus /Towne Park is liable for any claims or damage to vehicles parked at a location with a ParkPlus reservation.  Please review the signage onsite at your parking facility regarding damage liability before parking.  Most self-parking lots are not liable for damage, vandalism, theft, or anything outside of their negligence.

What if my flight departs/returns outside of the facilities shuttle hours?

We list all locations’ shuttle hours to assist you with making the best decision. We understand occasionally, flyers have travel times outside of a location’s shuttle hours; during these times, customers will be on their own for transportation, and the site or snag a space is not responsible for reimbursement. If you are departing prior to or returning after the scheduled shuttle operation, you will need to arrange alternative transportation from the airport to the facility; UBER and LYFT may be options in your market

My flight has been changed. Can I change my booking reservation dates and times?

You can change your ParkPlus reservation dates & times by clicking on the edit/cancel button in your confirmation email up to 2 hours before the reservation starts. Depending on when you booked, the rates may be different; any adjustments would be charged at the prevailing rate(s).

If you need to shorten your reservation after the starting time found on your booking reservation, you may pick up your car earlier than the reservation time states but is not eligible for a refund.

Do I have to stay at the hotel I am looking for parking?

No, ParkPlus Airport Parking is offering airport parking for customers looking to save on parking expenses when flying out of the local airport. This is not available for overnight hotel guests or guests visiting the hotel.

What do I have to do to ensure that the hotel knows I booked a parking space through snag a space, so I don’t get charged at the location?

To ensure you aren’t charged again at the hotel, bring a copy of your confirmation to the facility with you (print out or digital) to show the parking staff for assistance. If your reservation dates are not aligned with your actual duration on site, there may be additional charges.

My flight is delayed, and I won’t make it back in time for the departure time of my reservation; what do I need to do?

If your flight is delayed less than 24 hours, you can proceed to the facility as you usually would. If you have overstayed your reserved duration, there may be an additional hourly/daily charge on-site to pay. If you are delayed longer than 24 hours, please notify us at airportparking@townepark.com so we can assist you and notify the facility to ensure you are all set.

I booked the reservation with a different car than I will be using; what do I need to do to change it?

You can change vehicle details by logging into your account here or by clicking the edit/cancel button in your confirmation email.

Is ParkPlus’ airport parking outdoors or indoors?

Each location has different parking options; unless specified as “indoor parking” or “covered” all parking is outdoors/uncovered.

Does this reservation provide in and out parking or do I have to leave my car there the whole time?

ParkPlus offers airport parking for customers looking to save on parking expenses when flying out of the local airport. This is not available for overnight hotel guests or guests visiting the hotel. There is no in and out privileges with your reservation.

What if I need parking for more than one vehicle?

Each vehicle will need its own parking reservation, reservations are one per vehicle. Rates are subject to change at any time, to ensure the same rate for both vehicles you should reserve both spaces concurrently.

I Need to Cancel My Reservation. How Long Does It Take for My Refund To Be Credited To My Account?

Depending on your bank, it normally takes 3-7 business days to post back to the method of payment.

Are We Going To Reopen JFK?

We are actively looking for additional partners at all NYC airports – JFK, LGA, EWR, & HPN.

Does ParkPlus Offer Transport From LGA To JFK?

We apologize, but we do not offer airport to airport transfers.
